Our tribute to David James

Yesterday, Monday 22nd May, together with Graham & Sarah Richardson we represented Louth ‘Dolphins’ Swimming Club at the funeral of David James. 

Few will remember David but ‘back in the day’ he was a true volunteering legend. He was responsible for recording times at galas over many events. This was well before computers and automatic timing; it was all done manually. He was an absolute stickler for accuracy. 

He wrote many gala reports and continued long after his two children left the club with the support of his wife Ann. 

A true gentleman and an excellent gardener after he retired as a golf pro. Our thoughts are with his family.
