Summer Nationals here we come!

It's an exciting summer ahead for three of our swimmers, having received Summer National invitations. 

This year’s qualifying swimmers and events are as follows: 

British Summer Champs - Ponds Forge Sheffield 

Harvey Phillips: 

• 50 Breaststroke - Taking place on 25th July 

Olivia Anstey: 

• 200 Fly - Taking place on 25th July 
• 50 Fly - Taking place on 26th July 
• 100 Fly - Taking place on 28th July 

This is the first time that both of these swimmers have qualified for British Summer events. Last year they attended English Summer Champs only. 

English Summer Champs – Ponds Forge Sheffield 

Harvey Phillips: 

• 100 Free - Taking place on 2nd Aug 
• 150 IM - Taking place on 3rd Aug 
• 50 Free - Taking place on 3rd Aug 
• 200 Free - Taking place on 5th Aug 

Olivia Anstey: 

• 200 Breast - Taking place on 3rd Aug 
• 200 IM - Taking place on 4th Aug 

 Scottish Summer Champs – Aberdeen Sports Village 

Lucy Carter: 

• 50 Back - Taking place on 14th July 

This is Lucy’s first Scottish qualification. Although she did swim at SNAGS early this year, these swims were based on her entering as a reserve before.  She has actually received the invite for Scottish Summer Champs this time around. 

Good luck to our swimmers! These are great achievements for all 3 swimmers. They will all be training hard for the next few weeks in the hope of making it into some finals! Fingers crossed more of our swimmers will be able to join them in future National Events as we have lots of talented swimmers in the pool.
