Our new Swim England Swimming Coaches

Two years in planning came to a successful conclusion recently, when six of our volunteers completed their journey to becoming Swim England Swimming Coaches.  

Congratulations to Steve Bailey, Jack Platts, Debbie Waddoups, Gemma Foster, Sarah Weller and Emily Mason-Smith.

They completed their preliminary Assistant Coaches course back in May 2022, then gaining in knowledge and confidence with advice from our experienced Coaches progressed, after many long zoom and theory sessions, to the culminating 4 days of practical assessments.

Our club can’t exist without volunteers, we owe them and all our poolside teachers/coaches a massive vote of thanks and of course our supporters in making this possible.   

A huge thank you to Coveris of Louth on this occasion for the grant received, helping us support the clubs future with new coaches.
