Louth Dolphins had an amazing few days at the Hull meet from the 31st of March to the 2nd of April. All squads attended. In total our club secured 170 PB (personal best) swims, and 173 medals. 19 gold medals in the A grade and 48 gold in the B grade. 26 silver in the A grade and 19 silver in the B grade. 22 bronze in the A grade and 19 bronze in the B grade.

Lots of our younger swimmers were achieving their first county qualification times and of course many of the older swimmers were as well, leading us into another hopefully successful season.

Swimmer of the weekend went to William Kite for completing 8 swims with 8 personal best times, and a special mention goes to Kirsten Richardson who swam at her first meet as a top squad swimmer and completed 4 races with 4 solid personal best times on the day that she swam.

Bravery award has been allocated to Albert Hale by Mark for his determination to be back in the water after his fall during the warm-up and for putting on a brave face throughout it all.

Overall great weekend for Louth Dolphins with great attitude from the swimmers that competed and very good all round performance.
